Oddly enough, Blacksburg is only about 15 minutes farther from his hometown than Knoxville is.
ETA: and to answer your question from last week about Gilbert pitching more this season, they expect him to. He didn’t this year because they didn’t trust the CF defense behind him, but they want him to be more of a two way guy this upcoming season.
