Newbie gains

New to the board
I’m 39 and have not worked out consistently since high school. Was starting to get pretty fat. I’m 5’8 and was about 198.
Recently I joined a gym and started working out at lunch, and I’m hooked. I’m experiencing “newbie gains” which I’d never heard of before, and it’s pretty awesome.
After losing about 25 pounds of fat over the last 3-4 months, my weight has stabilized as I’m starting to gain muscle. I’m down to about 175 and still slowly losing fat.
I know things will get tougher once I hit a plateau, but it’s fun while it lasts! No question, just sharing/bragging.
