One thing I remember him saying was that recruits are blowing up his Twitter wanting to come here. He said he hasn’t seen that at his other stops.

He mentioned we may get a couple more good arms from the transfer portal.

He mentioned using technology to reach today's players vs just "listening to an old fat coach". Mentioned different tools to register spin rates & improve velocity. Seems like he knows his stuff.
Talked about all the injuries this year at AZ ST, and how they had to make due by basically conceding the Fri night game of every series bc of depth, and bank on winning Sat/Sun

I know that won’t fly here but if LSU goes 20-10 in sec play your a super regional host.

It seems like we have the technology but we rarely have seen reports or news about how it was being used, or if the benefits were being maximized.

Nap said they werent allowed to use it earlier this season when i asked. Specifically the win reality equipment. Not sure about the motus stuff. But i thought that was crazy. And i dont know and doubt PM and dunn truly understood the new tech, which was a problem for me

yea he called their season "decent" out of respect, I guess anytime you can make a regional you have a puncher's chance.
But he also emphasized how it was his hardest coaching challenge yet.

It was just the WinReality stuff they couldn't use. The reason was something about cleaning it between uses to prevent COVID. Something dumb that seemed like a piss poor excuse.
I don't know what Kelly specifically mentioned in the interview, but Motus, Edgertronic, Pocket Radar, and some other things I can't remember right now are all more easily used and pretty portable.
Motus sleeves measure elbow stress, among other .things The pitching lab probably has mo-cap stuff and force plates to measure things as well.

Mainieri actually talked in an interview at some point this season that they had this great piece of equipment that they weren’t able to use because of Covid protocols. I remember this board being pretty pissed that they couldn’t use whatever it was.

These new coaches sound exciting and exude confidence, and that's making me feel all good about LSU Baseball. Always gave Pawl the respect he was due, but felt like the game & recruits had passed him by the last few years.

I understand. My point is with their talent level, giving up the Friday game, and still making a regional, he should have better success at LSU.
