IMO, the radical left administration wants to provoke a violent reaction from the right.
They know they will lose badly in 2022 and 2024 if there are honest elections. So they can only survive if the right reacts violently in such a manner that they can create an extrajudicial environment. An environment in which they can suspend elections.
The Jan 6 "insurrection" won't cut it. They need to provoke a true violent reaction from the right or a created "Reichstag Fire" incident. Otherwise they are out on their asses and the Democratic party is crippled for decades.

Ironically, if there is proof that Trump won and the Radical Left refuses to leave the White House for the legitimate election winner, we may end up with the very violent reaction by the right that the radical left needs.
