Looks like the HRRR maxes out around 12-14" in the Florida parishes. NAM is a lot higher.

ETA: looks like the usgs hasn't updated river forecasts since I posted them earlier.

Nope

That stupid count has done far more damage to the future of this city than I thought possible. I under estimated her

Lafayette is gonna try to claim this entire storm as theirs, aren’t they?

Is that surprising?

res model for tropical systems. I like it better than the HRRR/NAMs for most tropical purposes, but it's time to bust out the last two for the rainfall.

Also...

I just shite my pants a little bit.

I hope everyone can stay as safe as possible. Tomorrow at 8am I’m going to make a check in only thread. Hopefully the bullshite stays out of it and we can just say we’re safe tomorrow morning and recheck in that we’re still safe Monday.

Good luck everyone. Say a prayer. This is going to get bad.

NAM is running right now. Not out far enough to tell total precip. It was pushing 23" on the last run.

Broome is completely incompetent. Latoya is just an a-hole, she knows exactly what she’s doing.

Latoya has done some good things for the city and had shown some promise prior to Covid and all her Mardi Gras bullshite.

No one calls it “Ed White.” You probably pronounce “pirogue” pee-row, too. Turn in your Bayou Cajun card.

How much?

Are we talking a Katrina, Camille, Georges, or Ivan type curve?

I will take any as it is headed right for my house.

You know Tha Destroya gonna be pissed if BR gets more fed monnies for this hurricane than she does. She is probably going to unplug the city's pumps as we speak.
