Your response essentially proves my point.
If it is not about protecting the people entering the stadium then why have the restrictions specific to the games in the first place? So basically you are admitting the restrictions have NOTHING to do with the "safety" of the fans attending the game and EVERYTHING to do with public officials trying to leverage LSU football in an effort to force people to take the vaccine.
If you want the vaccine and haven't already gotten it, then get the vaccine. It is WIDELY and readily available. If you don't want it then that is your decision...even if I may choose to make a different decision. But it is fricking absurd for government "leaders" to leverage an enjoyable aspect of society (attending a football game) SOLELY in an effort to force people into agreeing with their political position on the issue.

I have a young friend in the ICU with covid but it's a less than 1% chance of death among all population. You can get sick and die for sure but it's extremely rare. Wanna sacrifice 'safety' for freedom...move to China.
