You are looking at it backwards. Looking at Orgeron's head coaching record before LSU, 2019 is the odd year out. Everything else, repeat, everything else is par for the course.

They did, and they were roasted by Sunshine Pumpers for months and years. Successful interim coaches do not build programs. Where Ed Orgeron has been in charge, he has harmed programs in the long-run. Mississippi and LSU are proof. Lots of folks brought up Mississippi, and were drummed relentlessly by those saying "he learned from his time in Oxford..."

No. He didn't. He is who always was, and is now exposed for all to see, although many won't believe their eyes because they have some vested interest, usually emotional, to back Coach Orgeron.
