Is Orgeron even a good DL coach anymore? He proved that he can’t coach a 3-4 line when Aranda left. I’ll even question his recruiting since he seemed to be left at the altar by 2-3 kids a season.

I think there's a fairly decent chance that Saban will make a run at Orgeron for an analyst / shadow staff position after he's fired.

What is O bringing to the table as an analyst?

O's ego and his national championship as a HC won't allow him too. He'd go to the NFL first.

At LSU yes.

No way that would ever happen. Not sure if you're being serious or not but you can't fire the guy and bring him back on the next staff in a different role. He emotionally won't be the same guy. Plus he would be highest paid DLine coach in history with whatever buyout he is gonna receive. He moves on.

No, burned too many bridges but he will land at Another SEC school as head of recruiting and be a pimple on our arse for the foreseeable future

This is my fear, he will land somewhere in the SEC and recruit against us.

eds ability to recruit died along with his HC career

if he goes to another sec school recruits will run the other direction as fast as they can so that would help us recruit better

I just don't get this. Do you think he's such an effective recruiter that he's going to poach kids for who, exactly, MS State? Auburn? Let's not talk about Bama, since Saban has his pick of recruits as it is. There's nothing, and I mean nothing, that O would bring to the table for Bama.

doubt O would leave LSU head coach to a less position anywhere else.

saban isn't offering O anything after his incredible display of saying hes going to beat their arse every time he sees them and completely getting his shite pushed in ever since.

You know what. When you put it this way, I could see Saban offering O a job just for the purpose of humiliating him.
