How are bama fans? Are they as annoying and hardcore in Tuscaloosa as they seem? We will be attending the lsu alumni tailgate so at least we will have some folks to hang out with!!

Politely condescending. In 2019 I was at a BBQ restaurent in BHAM the Friday night before the game and was talking to an elderly Bama fan next to me at the bar while we were waiting for a table. When he found out I was a LSU fan he very politely asked me "Are you all any good this year..."

My CSB for that trip was at that same random BBQ joint in eastern BHam. My daughter (see pic) and I were eating at our table and there was this young black guy at the next table with a LSU pullover and I kept thinking he looked familiar. It finally came to me that it was Nick Brossette. I confirmed and gave him a Geaux Tigers...

I’ve always said the only fans in the SEC equally as brutal or worse than LSU is Florida fans.

Went in 2019 when we won. Had 0 problems, they were very humble in defeat. Had a kick arse time too, really cool bars and gorgeous women. I’ll probably go back if we ever have a good enough team to beat them again lol

Bama fans are good in person because they win a lot—you’ll have a good time before kickoff. After, good luck

There used to be a bar called cheap shots that I drank at until 5am one Friday night back in the early 2000s good times.

Been to Tuscaloosa easily a half dozen times and don’t recall it being any worse than any other sec town on gameday.

I have always had a good time in Tuscaloosa. I have been there for football, baseball and basketball. We always try to hit up Baumhowers Victory Grill or Dreamland BBQ

When I went to Tuscaloosa,I was totally shocked that they had the nicest fans of any town I have visited. You’ll have a nice time, if you don’t let the game ruin it for you. There is cheap parking at a school on the main drag coming into campus, so don’t pass that up.

The fans won’t be bad to you guys. They (and the stadium as a whole) are so used to winning that they don’t seem very invested. It might be a bit of a different experience since we beat them in T town last time, but I doubt it. Campus and stadium are very nice and it should be nice weather, walk around and enjoy it. The game certainly won’t be as pretty

Ok to go beacause they are going to destroy us.

Don't go when we have a top 5 team, they will destroy you.

Haven’t really had issues going there mainly because Bama fans aren’t worried about losing.

Tough year to go. You might be the guy in the stadium the camera zooms in on if Bama jumps out early.

The campus is beautiful. So is the stadium. They are both soulless and lack any personality whatsoever.

This is so true. Being in the stadium is like being in an NBA arena. You are assaulted by artificial noise and lights from the moment you step in til the time you leave.

Fans are pretty decent for the most part. In the event of an LSU win, it’s best to move in large groups of LSU fans. The assholes like to pick off the stragglers. However, this year will be such a bloodbath in their favor, you won’t have to worry about that.

Bama fans are pretty relaxed and generally very welcoming . As the other guy said, stay away from Gainesville.
