I’ve got a 2011 F 150 with 180,000 miles. That sounds like an issue I had 2 or 3 years ago.
IIRC, there was play in the front wheel and it would rub on the thin metal shield in the wheel well and make a high pitch sound. IIRC, I replaced the front wheel bearings - I know I replaced them & I think that was the solution to the noise. Don’t remember doing anything else.
They are expensive, $100 to $200, but my son replaced them at the house. The hardest part was getting the electrical connectors apart.
I thought it was the transmission or a u joint but the mechanics I took it to said those were fine. I don’t recall why I decided to replaced the wheel bearings.
