They are trying to push this as if the economy is fine. All benefits for these freeloaders have expired. That is why claims have plunged.
Claiming 581,000 jobs added...
Of course consumer spending has risen. Food and gas prices up 25-100%. I spend a lot more now than I did a year ago. We still have to eat at my house.

The number of Americans filing initial unemployment claims tumbled to 199,000 — the lowest level since November 1969 — the Labor Department reported Wednesday, part of a spate of positive economic news that signaled that many of the wrinkles of the nation’s recovery continue to be smoothing out.
It was just the latest bit of good news for the labor market, which remains about 4 million jobs below pre-pandemic levels but has staged a strong recovery, adding about 581,000 jobs a month on average this year.
Separately, the Commerce Department said that consumer spending increased by 1.3 percent in October, its fastest pace since March, in a sign that Americans are continuing to spend.

They do know we can go outside and clearly see basically everyone is understaffed, right?

Don’t forget SCOTUS killed the rent moratorium as well.
Not to mention we stopped the greatest economy the world had ever seen dead in its tracks. A good percentage of those jobs need to be filled again.

WHen you run out of money, you can either steal or go back to work!
And both are happening now....
Unemployment rate down
Crime rate up

Yes, but it doesn't matter.
They knew we could all clearly see a 17 year old boy surrounded by attackers who defended himself, but they still insisted on telling us we weren't seeing what we were seeing.
Kyle's case may be the best example we've yet had of the press simply deciding facts don't matter. Not only did we have full video of the incident, but we had a kid that could not be further from the narrative the press was painting as militant Trump hyper-political white nationalists roaming the countryside looking for victims. This was a clearly good, decent kid who had virtually no social media imprint and ZERO that had anything to do with politics or race issues who looked like he was plucked right out of central casting for a reboot of The Andy Griffith Show. You know they had to be demoralized for a beat when they saw the video and realized who/what the kid was and was not. But, they soldiered on and told their story anyway and they have a huge percentage of the country believing that the kid is a vile white supremacist who crossed state lines with an illegal weapon who then proceeded to shoot innocent black protesters s they tried to disarm an active shooter. So long as they hold together and tell the lie over and over, who is going to say they're wrong? The "right wing media" that Hillary has been demonizing since the early 90's?
You think they can't or won't spin some esoteric economic issue? This is cake.

OKC mayor (R) was on the news last week saying OKC unemployment was below 1%, best in 50 years. Hard to believe

But the question is - is this due to Biden policies or just the fact that all of the jobs that were shut down because of the pandemic are now coming back to life because there is no longer the amount of mandates on businesses than there was a year ago?
I'd say it's the latter because I have seen no evidence of Biden instituting anything that has caused an upswing in employment numbers. If anything he has caused thousands of American to become unemployed because of his policies. Maybe someone can tell me different. I'm all ears.

The key is in their words. Initial claims.
Who the frick is filling for unemployment for the first time rt now? Oh yeah, barely anyone.
This is where they get the masses. You have to read the words and think critically.
That number is so low because of how high initial claims already were.

Unemployment and Job participation are two different things. Many have dropped off the unemployment rolls but are still sitting on their asses

If you're not even looking, you're not counted. Stop handouts for a couple of months and watch the numbers.

Now, now - let’s not engage in thought crime against our Ministry of Truth.

The media tried to crucify Trump for hurting businesses when the Labor Participation Rate hit it's all time high because they had to compete for employees with higher wages and benefits...
SO next month should be stellar when 10's of thousands of healthcare workers are let go for being unvax'd right?

It will get adjusted.

And keep in mind, on average about 2 million jobs are added each year, so throw in the 2 years of pandemic, that means we are about 8 million jobs shy of where we should be.

Can we finally, as a nation, on this glorious Thanksgiving Day, put aside our partisan divide and graciously acknowledge that Bidenomics is working?
