No matter what happens on the field next year, it will be Max Johnson's fault. That's just the way the rant works.

We don't embrace coaches whose MO is to always lose big games. You know,

1-7 vs top 5 teams
3-8 vs top 10 teams

They’ve been in the playoffs 2 of the last 3 seasons and are still in play for this season.

Yeah because wanting to be competitive against UK is unrealistic.

Don't be discouraged by the psychotic portion of the fan base. They weren't going to be happy with anyone we would have gotten, and that won't ever change.

Butter teeth was an awful recruiter. That’s what did him in. Same as Mullen in the end

LOL at butter teeth. A bit out of topic here, but am I the only one who thinks that Mullen wanted to get fired on purpose so that he could collect his buyout $$? Seems to me everything that he did at the end was stupidly on purpose.

Oh and btw, I love the BK hire!

Now put Saban, Miles, and Orgeron record against top 5 teams and top 10 teams BEFORE they arrived to Baton Rouge.

To say notre dame hasn’t been a championship contenders under BK is ridiculous. They’ve made the playoff twice and the national Championship game once. They didn’t win, but if you make it that far, you’re obviously a contender.

A contender possibly, but any realistic expectation of winning it NO!!!!!

Yes, thanks to their past, the ability to schedule opponents, not having to play a conference championship and overall name brand (which is good for the sport).

Face it they stacked the deck in their favor. Any realistic expectation of winning it all---NO.

Yes but really have not had any realistic shot at winning it all---we all knew the outcome when they faced a great team.

This year might actually be their best chance due to most of the teams that appear to be in (Michigan, Georgia) are not killing it on offense.

He has not had a team that ANYONE thought was going to win it all, and for good reason. Making the playoff's was much easier for ND due to schedule and no conference 'ship game.

And all of us that thought they didn't have a team that could win it all were certainly right by LARGE point margins.

We are due for a Championship in 2023, when it’s hosted in New Orleans. And in 2027. It’s when tge stars align. If he can guide us there for those, I’m good.
