Yep. Smart move by the UGA grad to bring it to an untapped market. Like a few others said, there is a market for them to co-exist in any southern market. They already coexist in a few markets (Athens, Charleston, Tuscaloosa). Both have good food, and Zax has a few more options. Their salads are really good.

I have a Cane's near me, but I've never bought food from a Cane's or Zaxby's. I'm going to try to keep up my resistance.

Popeyes, Zaxbys, Church's, Chik F la....pretty much anyone has better chicken strips than Canes!! That mess is overrated as frick. Bland, soggy, tasteless, I could go on

Dude, sorry the cashier at Cane's had sex with your girlfriend.
Is there really any life changing difference between Zaxby's and Cane's? Isn't it basically 5 Guys vs. Moo Yah? On the rare occasions I'm seeking fast food chicken fingers, why would anyone drive farther to one over the other? I'm goin to whichever is more convenient, and that's probably it.

Chick Fil A's chicken strips are fricking terrible. And they are barely bigger than some of their nuggets, and expensive. I have no idea how a place that does every other form of chicken so well has such crappy strips.
