Haven’t played in a few years, want to drive back up there to get a round in. I know it’s not the best time of year conditions wise, but has anyone played recently?

In Percy Quinn, just so we’re clear.

One of my favorite layouts but haven't been in a while bc it's hard for me to drive past Cam2 in Amite for the price and how well the greens are rolling.

Last time I went to Quail it was in solid shape. Greens had spots on them but majority of the greens were good. Just seems like it's always wet around the greens no matter what.

It was coming in really nice a month ago. Greens were getting there

Probably nice now but they have an asshat playing out there taking divots out the greens

I live less than 3 miles from QH.... haven't seen the inside yet, but I was going to Lowes to pick up some trimmer fuel and I saw the deliveries enter here sign.

I grew up going/working the GGO in Greensboro (early 80s) and it's such a nostalgic thing for me. Parking in front yards, dad having parties at the house before everyone goes to the 17th to get smashed.

So I love QH's tournament, but good lord it's so damn expensive to day drink... might go during the week... less crowds.

I don't believe OP is asking about THAT Quail Hollow

He is referring to a public course in McComb, MS.

Haven't played it in years but the elevation changes are a nice touch for us who play mostly along I-10/12.

Played it today. Pretty decent shape, little dry out there besides a few areas by the greens they over water. Greens are full for the most part but fuzzy. Need to play there more.

Rough..greens have a lot of bad spots and you cannot play the course down

Just played it last Friday. Seemed in good shape . Ground was getting hard in the tee boxes. Gnats were terrible.

Gnats confirmed stacked. Only in certain areas.

That’s been the case for the last 10+ years at least

Played it Sunday. The gnats were about to carry us off the driving range but weren't as bad on the course. The bunker on #1 ate my lunch, I had a semi decent round going and then on 17 I was 130 yds from the pin. The ball hit about a foot from the pin, bounced off the flag and settled about 4' from the cup. I was excited and heartbroken all at once but it was definitely the highlight shot of the round for me.
