Not a completely new set, though, Taylormade M4s. I usually look at MPF ratings on irons when considering a purchase.

If I don’t like them, I’ll just resell the set: 4-AW.

My current set is 12 years old: TC-930s. A Japanese forged set from Fourteen.

Where do you find these ratings?

Good God those are shovels and I couldn't hit them just looking at them.

Maybe this?

According to that my i230's have nearly the same exact playability rating as the new blueprint Ts (which are butterknive small) and are more difficult that the Blueprint S... Hmmmmmm something seems off.

Does give me a good reason to switch the the Blueprint S's though...

Has the ping i500 as a “super player classic” with a 130…. That site looks a bit off, IMO

It’ll definitely be different than hitting the 14s I’ve had in the bag for a decade.

If you’re a consistent ball striker at the center of the face, you can play them well. Depends on the player.

Higher handicap players benefit from the higher rated clubs.

Haha.

You would definitely benefit from GI, SGI or UGI rated irons: Lower center of gravity to help with ball flight and perimeter weighting to help with off-center hits.

Keep the Mizunos until you become a better ball striker.

I’m just upgrading to a more forgiving set.

I can hit the 14s well when I catch them pure, they have a rating similar to the Miuras, but the sweet spot is the size of a pebble.

I’ve got Gi on order, 5-pw. I was fit for both the apex pro from Callaway and them, they just felt a bit better.

Went with T505 1 and 3 irons from Titleist. Year end models went on sale for them. Ball really jumps off them for the low irons.

Hmmm Taylormade R9 is def a game improvement iron but is listed as a player classic with a mpf of 97. Seems way off.
