Are y’all familiar with this ? Supposedly there’s a link with the creases right by your ear and earlobe.

I've never heard of that, it's very interesting.
Thanks for giving me something else to worry about.

My coworker just pointed out to me that I have the exact crease associated with heart disease.

I’m 42 and stuff like this bothers me now.

It's like getting yer palm read by the creepy gypsy lady out on the boardwalk, she just looked at the "life line" on my hand and said, "Youuuuu dieeee sooooon, Dr. Denim!!!!" as she cackled and took my money.

My dad had his palm read by a friend of a friend on a houseboat about 20 years ago. The lady kind of paused, and she said he was going to have a major life changing event soon.

About 9 months later at 47 years old he was having major chest pains. It wasn't so much a heart attack, but it was a birth defect. His artery or whatever on one side was kinked and that side of his heart was like a child. Kinked like a hose is the way they describe it. The doctors said he could have been walking down the sidewalk and dropped dead, even when he was younger. Idk what that lady saw, but I'm not talking shite about those kinds of things ever again.

Now you can GTFO with that earlobe bullshite!

I spent many years taking care of patients with heart attacks, angioplasty, and by-pass surgery,Virtually everyone of them had the earlobe crease.

At same time I’ve had friends with the crease, had heart caths with no significant blockages.
One old man I was friends with had severe creases but little coronary artery disease,he did have femoral artery bypass, though.

Anyone that has earlobe creases show up,they should have a work-up.

BIL had ear creases, had a mild stroke and carotid endartectomy few weeks ago, heart cath showed minimal disease.

Got one crease on my right earlobe.
Mid 50s, work out regularly, no symptoms, no health conditions, take no medications.
Wonder how I’m doing in terms of cardiovascular risk.
Let’s hope there’s no widow-maker.

Thank you for the informative take.

My brother’s cardiologist stated there’s quite a bit of evidence against it. Mom, best friend, and 2 coworkers had heart attacks and none have earlobe crease. I don’t have it either, my dad does, in his 70s and no heart history

That’s curious to me.It was a cardiologist that first pointed it out to me many years ago.I had never paid attention to it before he said something about it.
As I said in my previous post it was very rare to see a cardiac patient that didn’t have it. In my experience, not everyone with the crease had heart disease but they had vascular problems elsewhere such as carotids or femoral arteries.

I saw a long time acquaintance last week at a funeral and he told me he had a stent placed 2 days before.Looked at his earlobes and sure enough he had the crease.
He’s not someone I expected to have heart disease.Early 50’s,slender,runs a lot and mountain bikes a good bit. Must be genetic.
