I didn't do that great last night. Did 2 lbs boiled shrimp, 1 lbs snow crabs and a lbs of crawfish. Not the worst but tons of butter. Also had a soft drink and a glass of whisky.

Wasn't planning on Amy of this but a good college buddy called yesterday and said he was passing through and wanted to get together. I hadn't seen him in almost 2 years so not gonna pass up the opportunity.

I'll get back to it today for sure. Gonna lift today too.

Lots of protein there at least. That's what I hang my hat on when it's crawfish season

My boil weakness is the sausage. My FIL uses Jerry Lee andoullie and it so effing good. I could eat a pound of just that.

Oyster,
Hahaha to be fair I thought it was gonna be around 24-25. I’m living proof that running long distances doesn’t mean the weight is coming off.

Good morning all. Tuesday morning will complete week 1, but I’ve got some quiet time now.
258/254/225

The bloat is gone. My GI track issues are gone. Arthritis pain in joints are gone. It looks like I put on 4 real lbs over the holidays. Previously when I would lockdown for a week, I would get to 250, that’s all on me.

By my calculations of 2lbs per week, I could be at 240 by Mardi Gras and 226 by Easter. It’s doable, but possibly a lofty goal.

I had an event last night and didn’t drink any beer, eat any crap food including king cake. The will power is kicking in.

Hammer down folks!!

Morning all,
Starting on the train tomorrow morning. Been out of it for a few months and have really fallen off the wagon.
Current Stats
6'1
265 (I Know boys, I know)

Will be doing a mix of cardio/weights 4-5 days a week
Shooting for a low carb menu with less than 30/40 carbs a day. As always, this tends to be an uphill battle for the first few weeks but eases off after a few.
1/10/22 begins a new day. Good luck to all moving forward!

Decided tomorrow I'm starting keto. Just so much easier for me to stay in a caloric deficit. In fact gonna be pretty much carnivore.

I've mentioned here before pretty much all carbs but fruit and potatoes make my stomach hurt and make me gassy so just gonna role with it. I always feel best when on IF and keto. After I lose some I'll up the carbs a little for better recomp.

Im thinking of going to carnivore once I get down to the last 10 lbs. By then I can handle the extra protein.

I survived the weekend!!!!! The only thing I did was drink a few too many seltzers Sunday. I've found that they don't hurt me the way beer does, so I should be fine. 253 this morning. Ill weigh in tomorrow morning to cap off week 1.

I'm restarting the 100 pushup program at week 1, but in a higher volume bracket. Covid screwed up my training. I'm also restarting C25K. This is the real week 1 with last week being a prep week.

7 week until Mardi Gras. 14 lbs to lose by then and I get 1 piece of king cake. I may skip it if I'm in deep ketosis though.

Started counting my calories and getting back into the gym last week, after an extended layoff the last 3 months of the year due to various reasons.

Down 2 pounds this week and look to keep the progress going.

Hoping this thread can keep me accountable.

Not really focused on the scale as much as I’m focused on getting these lifts in consistently but

Was down to 198 (6’5) on Saturday I was at about 220 a year or so ago. Slipped up a bit last night, wife wanted pizza and who am I to deny her of that. But we’re back at it today.

Got salads prepped for lunch and an Asian style chicken dish for dinners this week.

Day #1
First morning back in the gym
Pre workout and a little pink Himalayan salt to start the morning.
30 mins at 3.0mph and 5 incline. Finished off with a circuit workout
1 min jog at 4 mph
10 push ups
20 step ups
20 flat bench dumbbells
20 sit ups
Then repeated for 4 rounds, total 5 rounds. Did this for 20 mins. So all in all a 50 min workout with 10 min stretching pre workout.

got my inbody results today:
Weight: 189 lbs
SMM: 88.2 lbs
BF%: 18.15%

Definitely want to get that BF% back down at some point, but focusing on strength first.
Can anyone tell me what a normal % discrepancy is for left vs right arm and legs?

Previous numbers:
quote:

Bench: 275 for three reps
Squat: 295 for two reps
Deadlift: 295 for two reps

Current numbers:

Bench today: 275 for 4 reps
Deads last Thursday: 295 for 5 reps
Squat: 295 for 4 reps.

Slowly crawling to that 1000lb club...

body fat or SMM? I can post an old Dexa scan tonight if need be. it can vary big time on BF%. Usually SMM is pretty consistant with the dominant side usually having more.
