Have an existing system (Honeywell). Got sick of my installer fleecing me. Do you guys use any of these internet companies? There are many National ones out there with good pricing I’m just curious about the service.

Simply safe has been good for me for about a year.

I think Ring has a kit that will hook up to your existing system. Monitoring is somewhere around $10 per month.

They do, but unless you’re technically inclined, or have the patience, you probably need someone to install it. If I remember correctly the kit was sub $200. Works great with my existing sensors, and saved me the cost of an additional 15-20 sensors from ring.

Envisalink Connects to Honeywell panel and to your home network. They have monitoring or can just do it yourself.

Not sure if what I’m saying is what you’re asking for. I use Vivint Smart Home Security. It’s actually pretty cool what this system will do from my cell phone. No problems with service. Any call or questions I’ve had has gone to someone I believe is in Utah. It’s obvious the calls aren’t going to say India let’s put it that way. I travel a lot so it’s a piece of mind thing for my family. We don’t live in a high crime area, but sometimes in life you don’t know what you need until you need it.

I really enjoy simplisafe. 3M tape to mount everything or use screws. The DIY monitoring is free or you can use their $27.99/month monitoring and they are fast.
The only downside is the cost, but you generally get a massive discount buying everything upfront (30-40% off equipment) when you buy a new system.
They have unique sensors (water leak detector/glass break sensor/indoor and outdoor cameras & floodlights) that are all powered by those small cell batteries.
I had a defective room sensor (i think it broke when it fell off the wall, don't tattle on me) and a smart lock that stopped responding after a year, and simplisafe replaced them all for free after troubleshooting.
