Kylan Billiot shot up the final rankings on 247Sports. The LSU signee showed why during his senior season at Terrebonne High School and with a strong week of practice at the All-American Bowl in San Antonio.

Listed at 6-feet-2, 188 pounds, Billiot jumped all the way to No. 64 overall and No. 13 among the best wide receivers in America. It was a meteoric rise for the Houma, La. product, who entered the summer before his senior year unranked.

Speed is a component of Billiot’s game that complements his size and toughness very well. He clocked at 10.27 in the 100-meters and a 20.39 in the 200 as a junior, then caught a team-high 31 passes for 462 yards and 9 touchdowns as a senior.

We should have the fastest team in America for the near future. Track team should be good too.

Sub 10.3???? Was that wind aided? I never expected this at all! I was considering Watkins to be the track star burner of this class, but got damn Billiot. We got two speed merchants at WR and then one at RB. If all these kids stay at LSU along with Dakorien Moore, Berry, and Underwood, we should have the fastest offense of all time in 2026.

Dude played with no QB so never got the respect he deserved in the ratings. Kid has WR1 potential! Excited to see him play.

I tried looking up his track stats and this is all I could find.

LINK

quote:

200 Meters
1. 9 Alvin Celestin 22.37 2023
2. - Devante Clark 22.57 (1.7) 2010
3. - Trinity Stewart 23.11 2017
4. 11 Triniti Steward 23.21 2018
5. 12 Devin Clay 23.28 (.3) 2010
6. 10 Jakhi' Douglas 23.33 2018
7. 10 Kylan Billiot 23.35 2022
8. 11 Clement Undom 23.41 2021
9. 11 Standford Mart 23.60 (.3) 2010
10. 11 D'Jon Scott 23.73 2020

And he doesn't show up in the top 10 of the 100 which is as low as 11.63 seconds. No idea where 247 got their numbers but it is way different than this. This is his 10th grade status but there are 2023 stats on it as well.

This has to be a typo, I know every fast kid in the state and he’s not a speedster. At least not on the track.

Whoever coined the term “speed merchant” to refer to a football player is a genius. I love the term

I didn't know he had faster times than Caden Durham and Jelani Watkins. That's MOVING

ETA:

20.39 in the 200 as a junior

I'm thinking this has to be a typo. This would have been 4th in the SEC Outdoor Track Championships last year

I feel like we would have heard about his speed if it was like this before now

Speed at WR is great, but how are his hands? We need a great reciever, not a sir drop a lots... From everything I hear, though, the kid is going to be the real deal.

Even with the 10.27
100 m Time We would have heard about his speed. He would be the fastest 100 m High schooler in the state To come along in quite a while With that time.
