That’s why we’re different chalky,

Me = more data the better

You’d rather watch a highlight reel on Twitter

PFFs raw data is an awesome resource.

Their grading is polarizing but don’t think I don’t see you selectively using it for the players that grade well, and dismissing it on the players that grade bad.

No, the high school "scouts" don't claim to watch every snap of every game. That's a huge difference, but you already knew that.

I often talk with coaches. Years back I attended a few Morton Ranch games. This is the Katy district. I have a few coaches that are good friends coaching in that district. I had made a few games for Morton Ranch, Danielle Hunter had gave a strong verbal to LSU. A good friend was the head coach at Katy Taylor High. The head coach, OC and DC all were friends of mine. I asked how they were going to stop Hunter? The HC played OL at aTm, his brother did also, his brother played a number of years in the NFL. He said all they could do was to try to slow him down. Hunter played DL, TE and Special teams, could have played a number of positions. I remember one game his teammate got into a fight with an opposing player, Hunter was the first one in the fight between the two, grabbing his teammate, away from the opposing player. He then was talking with his teammate. It’s the little things a coach looks at in recruiting. A few years later, one of my friends started coaching at Morton Ranch, at that time in the weight room, they had records weight lifting, through the years. Hunters name was up there. They also had a picture of him, at that time being one of the more famous alumni. In that picture, he’s in a LSU uniform. Only fitting.

I’ll jump to basketball for this one. Years ago LSU coach Dale Brown was invited to watch a player they were recruiting, that player was scoring on everyone. That night, it was his lowest output ever, the LSU assistant said, the kid had an off night! Dale said, nope the kid he went against worked him and worked him hard. Dale and the assistant went to that opposing player, offered him a scholarship to LSU, he accepted. That kid, Greg “Cookie Man” Cook. RIP.

Dad, I watched Cookie-Man his entire career as I was living in BR at the time. He was a menace for any offensive player, and watching him stop or slow down the Kentucky guys was amazing. I can assure you that after a game of being guarded by Cookie, there were aches and bruises galore. I love this guy!
