If he's as bad arse as Damien was, he'll be a beast.

Play the brother card. Damien just signed a 53 mill 2nd contract, and was a 3rd round pick and Joe Moore award winner on an undefeated national championship team.

And Salviati, a little more respect for the Captain. He's the best around and can drive the boat...

I've been around a while. This isn't my first rodeo. Hell, my current Salviati persona goes back eighteen years, and it's at least my third incarnation on TD.

I was there when the hand of Circus Child reached down and formed the Recruiting Board from the void. I've seen them all come and go on this board. I remember the RAT. I've stood witness to the annual blossoming and pruning of insiders and posters with sources. I watched the rise, recession, and rebirth of lsufanva.

I have tremendous respect for CC. No one collects, organizes, and presents information in the quantity and quality that CC does. I have even more respect for the fact that he does not pretend to wear the mantle of "all-purpose talent evaluator" or the crown of "all-knowing insider." He's exceptionally hardworking and remarkably humble through the adulation inundation.

But at some point, people have to see through the charade. People have to look past the cleavage and enormous breasts in an ill-fitting purple top. People have to acknowledge that Natasha Groenendyk's top wasn't originally purple; it was changed to purple; and it was CC who requested the change.

Like that black top, CC is a black op trying to blend in. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing trying to distract this board with big boobs in Tiger colors. So the respect I have for him has to be tempered by his REC connections and income. And I guarantee that the responses and downvotes to this post will confirm the success of his furtive feint.

Truth be told, I have some concern for his current condition. I don't know if the recent shakeup in T-Town has left his contacts with less money to pay him, or whether they'll increase his compensation out of desperation.

So, yeah, I respect CC. He's an asset to the board, but then again, perhaps we are all merely assets to CC.

asset [as-et] noun

1. a useful and desirable thing or quality:

2. a single item of ownership having exchange value:

3. (in intelligence) a person followed or spied upon to obtain information: as a participant in an operation, an asset may be consenting, forced, as by blackmail, or unaware of being used: Compare confidential informant.

It's like no one understand who we have in T-Town is Roll Tide Willie leading our NIL. I am here in the trenches day in and day out trying to sabotage any chance of LSU becoming the main power in the SEC daily.

Now I am stuck having two wrangle this man and still come here to infiltrate. Tough times Sal.

Interesting.

I wonder if his stock has risen more so now that he's playing in Washington than it would have playing in Mississippi.

I'm assuming the level of competition and athleticism in Washington is slightly weaker than in Mississippi.

It’s just different. The area produces athletic talent across all sports, but the drop off between the elite teams/players and everyone else is bigger than talent rich regions. Almost all of the talent is concentrated in the Seattle-Tacoma metro area.

Bellevue High has recently produced former Steelers guard David DeCastro as well as Budda Baker, both have made multiple All-Pro teams. Myles Jack is another alumnus.

Is it too early to worry about 2026 DT recruits?

I'm ready to worry if I need to.
