If he wants in, sign him. You have to trust your evaluation along with your strength and conditioning and that you can coach up these 3 star kids and develop them. If LSU can sign 4 OL a year and over 4 years, sign 16 total, and of those if you can get 10-12 4 Stars and 6-4 3-stars do it.

247 composite only has 57 total 4 stars to 5 star OL across the board (OG, OT, C) for the entire country. There are not many of them nationally and generally Louisiana can go a few years without having a 4 star OL talent.

Our 4 star OL recruit is from Michigan. On our starting OL last week, only 1 was from LA (Dare), got to go out the footprint and sign 4 OL a year, some might be 3 stars but so be it.

Quick feet, good balance, and smart are the most important traits for me. Strength and technique can be added. The pounds will be easy to add.

Come on down, Kimo, the food is awaitn.

Talked about a visit in the upcoming weeks to see facilities and campus. Talked about the lack of talk with FSU and the upcoming Playoffs in Jacksonville tomorrow night. Kimo was told that the OL is very thin and his presence is definitely needed. Kimo has also mentioned that he is looking forward to Cajun food of many varieties. Just wanted to share after talking to dad today.

I was told LSU is loaded in the OL position, Lester and few others filled me in

Looking at his film Kimo looks like an excellent pulling G prospect.

Because there are other guys that can play OL other than the ones he signed. and he signed some very good ones. Worry about what you can control, not what you can't. Saban is going to sign 25 very good players each year. Period. LSU needs to sign 25 very good players each year.

On NFL 2020 rosters, Bama had 56, Ohio State 50 and LSU had 3rd most at 41. LSU recruits well, so does Ohio State but Bama of course tends recruit 1 with Saban. LSU needs to stay in that top 5 area consistently and you can challenge them.

Damn man. Who are you going to go have a reasonable chance to flip now? Maybe Roberts, but probably not if Bama actually has room. Hopefully we can still land Leigh, but even if we do it isn’t enough. This guy has the build and looks to have the mentality. It’s too damn late in this cycle to be so picky.

Complain about O Line recruiting quality and star rating after Feb. Hopefully the staff will target a more solid group of 4 for the 22 class. But for this year, we have to finish with who we can get. It is what it is. We could certainly do worse.

The measurables for me are 6-4+ and 270-285 combined with a solid work ethic and agility.

These “projects” are ideal to work with to build on the right way. The youngins coming in at 300-320+ are starting in a hole. They are not NFL 300-320......they are pudgy kids who do have athletic ability/potential.

Our lone signee is perfect.

We really need to start signing more athletic OL players. Watching Bama run stretch plays and pulling OGs, it seems we have an element missing in our play book. The current offense is not built for road graders. It's more athletic OL that can master zone blocking that we need to be recruiting.
