Insiders have said not interested. Probably was a phone call made and an offer not extended. Similar to Ricks.

It makes perfect sense. You call the player or agents/coaches. Get a little intel or feel out the player with some conversation of where they are in this process. Then quickly decide if you want to move forward. LSU did this with D. Ricks and looks like they have done the same with him.

The kid is trying to up his NIL value. LSU listed as a school he heard from could be as simple as a current player saying he would talk to a coach.
