Class of 2027 two-sport athlete Ahmad Hudson is starting to make his name known in north Louisiana circles. The Ruston High freshman and son of former LSU basketball player Antonio Hudson, is already 6-6 and 200 pounds at 14 years old. Keep an eye out for him as he progresses in both football and basketball his freshman campaign this coming year.

He's about to be a one-sport athlete shortly.

Gonna be raining threes in Atlanta come March of 2028 as Coach Mac and company cut down the nets.

What position does he play in football? TE?

The kid is a monster on the basketball court

I feel like two sport athletes don’t workout for now and days

He plays QB and has a rocket arm.

I bet he drops 25+ in the sec tournament.

The last 2 years he played QB and DE. One of the nicest kids you'll ever meet. My son was his center and played DE opposite of him. He has a November birthday so he's a young 14 as well. Probably TE/DE/QB in high school. I could see TE on offense for his 1st 2 years as they have an extremely talented jr QB

He probably could’ve been better utilized than he was at QB in middle school. Although, I’m sure that’s probably due to what Coach Baugh would like for them to run scheme wise at the MS level. He’s pretty hard to stop when he’s running the ball.

Sounds like a left tackle candidate if football is his ultimate choice. Great frame and wingspread, and basketball will help with the footwork. NIL sponsors probably need to get on him NOW.

Yep in 2 years and 3 more inches he will not be playing outside much longer unless he and Dad are shooting hoops at their crib.

I guess so at that size and age

I think the plan this season is to play wide receiver. Ruston already has a pretty good TE.

I spoke with him this past weekend at the Peach Festival Basketball tournament here in Ruston. He had a few thunderous two-handed dunks for Team Alpha and Omega.

Had some amazing catches during the Ruston vs Byrd varsity scrimmage. And also tossed a couple of TDs as the Freshman QB.
He is now 6’6, 220lbs

Lance Heard was 6’5.5” 220 as an 8th grader. Think he only grew another inch, inch and a half

Him next to Kendrick Perkins.
Just looking at his highlights, this is a basketball player all the way.
