357 etc, would an incoming PG not start? Williams, Flo, Smith, Morrow+ 1?

That lineup would be really small.

Johnson and Williams are your 2 and 3, not 1 and 2.

Nye would be a great fit from a scoring/outside shooting perspective but, not the greatest ball handler, not the greatest on ball defender, but she does hustle.

My bigger issue is, will Kim adjust the offense she runs. She's still running offense that Hogg ran when she was at Tech playing, essentially. Though skilled bigs will always dominate the women's game, its not as much as it was then. Everybody on the floor has to be a threat and just penetrating and kicking isn't enough. There needs to be more pick and roll, pick and pop, cutting, side to side action. The offense is too stagnant and each season, I've only seen a couple of things implemented offensively each time when they ran into issues, like the overload play this year. It was a reaction to a loss. We need a new offensive identity based on execution, not only skill.

Kim is very close with Curry, who is a total class act, sure she will know all the pros and cons in her game etc

Also need a true 5. ADR has potential but as of now her offensive game shows zero post moves .

Coach Curry and Kim are close friends. They were assistant coaches together at LA Tech. Their children basically grew up together. I think Kim's kids were older than Curry's. Kim has said that Curry is one of her closest friends. Kim is close to only a handful of people in the college athletics world.

Lol. No, we do not need a “true five.” Kim plays a two-post system and your starters down low next season are Morrow and Smith, who can be just about as effective as Morrow and Reese were.

And if we can nab a great playmaking point guard, the posts will probably be more effective even with Reese gone.

ADR just needs to be strong and 6’6! She has great skill and is running the floor better!

A speedy PG, a solid defender and scoring threat off the bench to help MK & Big 4, along with another talented big and we are good!

I would like to see them add pure shooter as well.

Rosario and Williams are already underway with the strength and conditioning coaches and Rosario is putting in lots of extra individual training with the coaches. The time for individual development really starts and ends in the offseason/summer, it’s more team related whenever it’s in season

I feel like they both probably missed out on that before last season. ADR with her injury and MW playing with the Team USA stuff.

I agree about Kim not needing a five but for LSU to compete with the other top schools they need depth and that means a point and another big/ forward to rotate in for Smith and Morrow for rest and foul trouble.

I bet you lsu adds at least one more big who can help in the rebounding department. Our core with Williams, Flaujae, Morrow and smith is plenty of offensive fire power, you just need those last pieces to fill their roles and play into the system

Waiting for confirmation but someone on X said looks like Beer from Oregon State might be headed to TCU.

If true TCU is all on on WBB for sure.

TCU just lost Cavinder. Changed her mind, changed commitment, and now going back to Miami with her twin sister. This is after both turned pro and failed attempt at becoming wrestlers. 5th covid year, one and done.

Beers will be a heck of a pickup to whoever lands her. Averaged 17 & 10, 66% from the floor and two years of eligibility remaining.

Probably a blessing in disguise. Her with Hailey would give them two small guards, neither who's a pg, and both bad on defense.

Read that Maddie Scherr committed to TCU today. Might have something to do with Cavender decommitting?
Idk enough about women’s hoops.
