Plum went wild her junior and senior year and carried them to a Final 4 and Sweet 16, which made him a hot candidate and got him a big payday from Arkansas. He hasn't won a tourney game since.

Hope Kim contacts her, great size 6'4", rim protector. Previous article I read, Dauda committed to Kim at Baylor without ever visiting Baylor campus. She said Kim did a home visit with her, it was the special chemistry/connection with Kim. She said her family loved Kim. But decommitted when Kim left for LSU, decided stay close to home AR. She and Jersey Wolfenbarger are good friends. She may be the last piece of the puzzle we need. Let's do this Kim. 13 is our lucky number..

You land her and this is Kim’s best roster by a mile, going against one that won a natty and another that went to the elite 8. Crazy they’ll mostly all be coming back too for another season.

Yeah the great thing about Flau'jae Johnson is she already said she was wants to stay in college as long as possible. She said she would take a 5th year if they would let her. I like that she loves the college life.

(one of her finalist schools out of hs was baylor with kim as hc)
janiah barker - 6'4" sophomore out of texas a&m. home state: georgia
(hs teammates with mjracle sheppard, has played usa bball with several lsu current and past players)

(hs teammates with sa'myah smith, had an offer from lsu w/ old staff)

Seems like Dauda is our best shot since there's a good relationship between Coach Kim and her. And she previously committed to Kim, the coach, and not Baylor the school. She declined go to Baylor after Kim left for LSU. Baylor has probably already contacted her. Anyone hearing if Kim has contacted her and if scheduling a visit?

I would prefer Amina or Maryam or both IMHO!! (Not certain when Smith will be back to 100%)
It’s really kinda sad about Barker. I think Barker is more skilled and a rare talent, that would thrive in Mulkey’s system.

why do you think there's not shot at barker? ive seen on other forums (ut, tenn, uconn) where lsu is probably the favorite! where else would she go? she portaled/DNC'd before the 2 UT desoto bigs left a couple days ago, so i dont think that was ever her destination. if she's leaving joni, its because she wants bigger nil (to match her big personality! and we all know this is a team of personalities!) and she wants a championship. no way would she go to sc to rotate in with that whole frontcourt roster, she doesnt like uconn, baylor just got vonlah. i couldnt see her going allllll the way to ND. and USC is basically built around juju--anyone going there has to pass the ball to her. what other teams are seriously contenders next year? i think it just makes sense for barker to come here.

Id love her in BR but based on what a couple others that seem to be in the know have said , she isn’t coming to LSU. If she was , wouldn’t have they announced it with the other 3?

not necessarily. bob just posted on his story that staff was busy this week with portal visits. plus theres still 3 scholarships available, no? so there could be a couple more announcements. she could be coming this weekend like whitehorn was supposed to, who knows?

Yeah there are visits going on that we have no idea about as this past week proved.
