According to Jacques Doucet Kelly said he never said LSU would beat the heck out of FSU.

He’s lying and I think that bothers me more than anything. If you were a recruit, would you believe him?

There’s video of it, he also spoke for about 2 minutes about how he’s never disrespected another team or coach in all his years of coaching and that things are always blown out of proportion by the media. His last sentence is where he said “I didn’t say that”

I thought BK said “let’s beat the heck out of FSU.” It really doesn’t matter though. I’d rather the coach be confident going into a game.

There is an audio cause he was on radio and he did say it.
His players, fans n recruits all need an apology or he loses credibility with all 3 groups.

He definitely said it. He let it slip and now he’s denying it. Maybe he didn’t even remember saying it, who knows.

Serious question: who cares? Really. Who cares if he said something like that or not? It makes no difference either way. Zero teams out there have an extra gear that they only reach for when an opponent talks smack. Zero. Whether he said something like that or not, it doesn’t matter one bit.

Of all Brian Kelly’s responsibilities, his coaches show is probably at the very bottom of his list. He probably doesn’t think twice about it and doesn’t remember anything that happens since it’s all sunshine callers
