After 9 years of BPB, I consider myself to be very lucky to start my 10th

Why am I so lucky? Let me count the ways...
First, because I went to LSU, and witnessed firsthand how much support the baseball program has. It really got me into college baseball in a way I hadn't been before, since I'm from a basketball state.
Second, because the opportunity for me to become the main BPB guy presented itself. My predecessor, liquid rabbit, nominated me as his successor at the end of the 2014 season, after I had subbed for a few games. I wasn't sure what to expect, but decided to do it anyway, and I think I made a pretty good call. It took a while to adjust, but after 9 years, I think I've done a good job of it.
Third, we have Jay Johnson. He grew up watching Skip's teams winning championships in Omaha and dreamed of doing that himself, and he did it. But as all the greats tend to be, Jay isn't satisfied, he wants more, as does most of TD. We're lucky to have a coach who lives and breathes baseball, whose dream job really is LSU, and who's always looking to put together the best possible team. That has already brought great results, and will continue to do so.
Fourth, I've been to Omaha. Last year was my first time experiencing it in person (championship series against UF), with a team that more than earned its way there. I had originally planned to go for the first weekend, but things worked out so that I was there for the championship series instead. It was everything it's hyped up to be, and then some. My Uber drivers mentioned that they were glad LSU made it, for good reason.
Fifth, TD itself. This site started the whole BPB concept, so that people who can't watch/listen still have a way to keep up with the game. That's been happening since before I joined, but I'm happy to keep it up for my 10th year. (If you're new and don't know what "BPB" means, or you think I meant "PBP", read a baseball game thread and you'll figure it out. TL;DR: Funny typo is now official terminology)
Enough reasons, let's get on with the title defense!

You're awesome at it. Because of my job Im usually in a situation where I can't watch or listen to the game so I rely on your posts.

Always great to meet TD posters IRL, it's been fun every time. See you in Knoxville

Thank you, Cheer for saying "Yes" when Rabbit asked if you'd do the BPB and thank you for continuing to do all the games that you can. I am in Baton Rouge and go to almost all of the games, but I still pull up the game threads on my phone when I'm at the Box. I like to see what all the TD guys are saying, especially when there is a questionable call or a play that is not in my line of sight. Here's to another great season of Tiger Baseball leading us on another trip to Omaha!
