It’s not usually a women’s basketball player that the board collectively decides to hate without details. But here we are. Her least was pretty short with the rant I guess.

I don't understand the uproar. Angel did something to piss Kim off, Kim is punishing her, and Angel will be back. It happens ALL THE DAMNED TIME on teams, men and women.
There is no conspiracy. There is nothing sinister going on. It is a discipline matter that is being handled by a hall of fame coach with 4 titles. Why do people insist on making it something more than that?

Not necessarily. If she was on the verge of blowing her GPA (coaches do track how students are doing throughout the semester), I can easily see a scenario where Mulkey sits her butt and tells her to get her academic house in order. I think the early season is actually the best timing to set her aside. This could all be preventative measures taken by Coach Mulkey to ensure Reese is on the team when the schedule starts to toughen up.
