Or is this just wishful thinking on the author's part?

FanRecap.com

Interesting idea, but I can't imagine the money would work.

A few years ago we were wishcasting going to the Big 12. We kind of got our wish but not exactly the way we wanted it.

There’s no way that happens with their current TV contract. It sucks and it’s locked in for a while.

Clearly won't happen and it's just a clickbait article.

There are reasons Texas and Oklahoma are joining the SEC. Any ACC school today would jump at an opportunity to get in if they could.

It would be program suicide for Auburn to make a move like that when their best assets are looking for the first escape route that they can get.

Best case scenario for the ACC is to hold what they have if that is even possible, and maybe promote Tulane. They are desperate and Stanford and Cal made no sense. They are 3 time zones over from everybody in the current ACC
