Don’t like the booing of the band but is it just me or do they do the same gimmicky crap every time we play them. I’ve seen the same show 4 times at least now.

Former Tigerband member here. My first game as a freshman was against A&M in 86. Our Tigers whipped their asses, but as a musician and marching band member I must admit that I enjoy their show. The flash and panache isn't there like in other college bands, but the military style and precision is impressive and it's a welcome break from hearing all the pop tunes being played by other bands throughout the rest of the college world.
Yup. I'm definitely against booing their band. It's not a competition between our bands. It's them sending their band to offer us more entertainment at halftime. I'll never boo a musician as long as that musician isn't making crazy political statements between songs.

This. Never been in a band before but it does look pretty damn cool.
It looked like their band started a little early and didn’t wait for TGBFTL get off the field all the way. Hence the “boos”

Interesting take from a band member.
However, I sat in the South End Zone near the Aggie band and got annoyed because every time the LSU band began to play (far across the length of the field) the Aggie band would play some bullshite crap and I couldn't hear the LSU band very well.
We . . . said things, and got some strange looks from them, then we laughed a lot at them. But we never booed them.

They're just kids playing music. This is non factor. I found out when I got old, the kids in the band had more fun than me playing sports. Boo the band? Are you 11 years old?

Thank you. Obviously very few have ever been in such a precise, skilled marching type band, (not an entertaining dancing band) The field will always be messed up with such strict precision.

I kinda liked their band. They got boo'd hard when they took the field but saw them slowly winning over the crowd and at the end alot of people gave them an ovation.

Thank you Irish LSU Fan. Even the slightest movement during a standstill will create a flash of light from a shiny instrument, and 50 walking in line is not as easy as it looks. Hours of work go into a halftime show.
