So just what does that say if our state leaders think that the state will listen to him but not them? Sad. good if Coach can influence anyone to take precautions but boo that our leaders can't.

Didn’t end with his speech with “Geaux Tigers!”. Disappointed

He’s there to speak to the lowest common denominator. Unfortunately, in Louisiana, there’s a lot of those.

He had me ready to suit up and go fight the corona.

Coach O- “These next few weeks are gonna be tough. So what? We Tough. Bring it on”.

I would hope Coach O is pro-democracy... Those were the founding ideals of our country and why we separated from English control. Are you anti-voting?

I’m not trying to sound political, just making a neutral observation

It is surprising to me that both Ed O and Nick Saban are on the left, politically

Old(ish) White men below the mason Dixon line are like 85-15 right wing

From a sheer probability standpoint, the chances of them both being Ds is 2.25%

(.15 x .15)

I think it has more to do with optics as much as politics. It wouldn’t be a great look for Coach to not get along with the second most powerful man in the state and LSU being a public institution.

Literally could not care less that he supported the incumbent governor. Take the politics back to the other board.

He is the most popular state figure and I think it is fine that he is used as a spokesperson to cut across political ones to get messages out.
