Renaissance Hotel

This is probably where UCLA FB team will be staying if you wanted to see the players outside the stadium.

Don’t stay in a hotel, my family
And I found an airbnb/Vrbo rental for a couple days, I believe in the garden district, and it was awesome. Less than $125 per night split between 4 people. Had a nice covered patio with a tv and a corn hole set up, 2 bedrooms. I will be doing that every time for future games that we attend. Had a fantastic experience.

Not sure how many people you have coming with you, but I stayed in an Airbnb off Perkins near Garden District coffee. It was awesome. Easy in and out to campus on gameday. Easy on and off interstate. It was perfect.

I was looking the garden district. It looked great. Was just wondering if it was hard to get down to campus on game day.

Megabus used to do NO to BR. Union Passenger Terminal to BR Greyhound Station. Neither location is good for arrival or departure.

The number one rule for visitors walking around tailgates is:

Be a good sport and don't be a dick!

If you can do that, you will meet great people who will offer you great food and possibly free beer.

Sissy blue shirts are ok. and HYDRATE and pace yourself. It will be hot as hell in September and probably more humidity than you have ever felt in your life.

FWIW I rented a Tesla last time I flew down it was $800 at the airport $300 at the convention center. Take an Uber to the convention center it’s much cheaper to rent

You still pay a drop fee for picking up at a normal store location and drop off at the airport. At least that's how it is when renting with Enteprise/National/Alamo. It will be substantially cheaper but the fee will still exist.

Let me give you some free advice. Don’t do this.

100% agree. That may be the best advice of the day.
Matter of fact - avoid all busses. Rent a car or Uber.
Nola to BR.is a little over a hour drive
