I'm pulling for TCU also. I thought the first game was a fluke, but after beating us a second time I'm not so sure. They're just a better team, and I like the way they play. Plus...I don't want Vandy winning another title. One was good enough.

I has a sad that the season ended a couple games too soon, and there's no LSU baseball to watch today. What a great season it was!

Tigers overachieved in my book. I didn't think they had the firepower based on last year's results. For much of the season, the hitting was great. 8 of 9 in the lineup batting over .300? Never saw that coming.
And of course Lange.

I agree. As disappointing as it is to see them out of the CWS the team was not expected to do this well. Unfortunately they have to replace all of their defense but pitching should be solid and that is key in TD Ameritrade

Considering they're 2-0 against us, and neither of the games were close I consider them the better team.

I really thought this team was something special though. I'm also not trying to take anything away from them. I just really thought they wanted the title more so than other teams in the near past.

We'll be better next year. If McKay comes and the Juco all Americans do well. I think we can win it all. We knew all season we didn't have a 3rd starter. And our bullpen was inconsistent. We got about as far as possible. Geaux Tigers.

We could only have 2 losses next year and still not end up as far as we did this year.
Virginia has 22, Vandy has 19, Florida has 17, and TCU has 14. All are ahead of LSU and at least one of them will be the NC. I'd be okay with 20 losses as long as we get further in Omaha.

Agree - Great season for us! +50 wins; a regular season SEC championship; CWS berth and a CWS victory. Many programs wish they were us right now and in general.
