Truthfully, this doesn't mean it didn't happen. I hope nothing happened, but accusations are often retracted in domestic-type situations. Retractions do make it very hard to prosecute someone though, so charges are usually dropped.

Before everybody throws a flash mob street party, let's give Alleva a chance to respond. Remember him and the Duke hoax. If the girlfriend did indeed make it up, she needs to be charged and Drake's name needs to be immediately cleared. The media and many rabies infested individuals always convict at the first sign of an accusation, depending on the political leanings. We need to let it play out. Just because the poor victim is just now screaming about past events, doesn't mean it's true.

And I was one of those people. There are people in this country in very high places who lie and ruin the lives of others on a daily bases and enjoy widespread support from a very large segment of the population. What makes her any different?
