She left Pointer but she didn't leave much. Her back end years were brutal

Seemed like the intentions were good, on paper when LSU hired it seemed promising but clearly didn't work out. But hey we have Mulkey now.

Cleopatra stole $$ from LSU and spent more time at the blackjack table than in the gym.

She lacked the special something that championship coaches all have.

I ate lunch next to her and her husband at Crawford’s II on Staring Lane the year she got fired.

That’s all I have to contribute.

I don’t know…her on the court coaching seemed to be pretty decent. She’d sometimes get a lot out of the talent she had. Problem was all the other aspects of being a college coach.

She couldn’t or wouldn’t recruit, that was her downfall

She was decent early in her time before things started to fall off.

We did make it to the Sweet 16 with her.

No actually the other person was complimentary of her pointing out she left a few good players and convinced them to stay at LSU. Nikki was very gracious in commenting on her love for LSU and appreciation for the city and the university. But go ahead and shite on her because she didn't equal the Hall of Fame coach who followed her.

I’ll have to go look but it seemed like there were a few others.

Ironically, I met Kayla Pointer in Atlanta before the fall semester her senior season. What an impressive young woman. She mentioned that she was staying because she loved LSU and how it wasn’t that hard of a decision even with her aunt Fargas getting fired. I do believe Fargas did indeed tell them to stay.
