I don’t think you understand the difference between “excited” and “optimistic”. Fans that aren’t permanently negative like yourself were optimistic about Peetz and Jones not excited.

I don't remember anyone being excited about either, but that could just be me. I did not care for either whatsoever. I will give Daronte credit for how he finished the season though.
I trust Brian Kelly and some of these former players of House a lot more than O making a hire. Kelly has hired great defensive coordinators of late. Let's hope for the best.

I don't recall any excitement other than Jones could not possibly be worse than Pelini. In fact I remember eye rolls over chasing the Joe Brady offense.
