While Ack seems to look pretty good as the Sunday starter so far, if things go south or if needed in the SEC tourney, Dutton seems like the kind of guy who would be good to start. His stuff is flat and he gives up hits so he’s not good in high leverage situations. However he does not walk batters and gets some outs. Let him start and see how far he can get you with a short leash. He gives up a couple runs and you yank him. BUT if he gets a rhythm going, let him go

I’m not against this either but he’s got that from pitching against weak competition. His few SEC outings haven’t been great. Things could be developing better for him now though

To be fair his outings in the SEC have also come out of the bullpen which is totally different than getting a start. Not saying it wouldn’t be the same outcome but who knows?

The rant has moved from thinking Money is good to Dutton and Hellmers this year.
He's not good. He should not start. If either are pitching in an inning that we aren't up, or down, at least 8 then we are in trouble.
