How bad has Christian Little been? His stats over his last 11 appearances are dreadful

He has given up at least 1 run in 10 of the 11 appearances

Over those 11 appearances:

18 innings
21 hits
25 earned runs
24 walks
23 strikeouts

12.50 ERA
2.50 WHIP

More walks than strikeouts. Leave that kid at home for post season play. He’s bad juju

I honestly don't think I've ever seen a pitcher struggle to throw strikes as much as him.

And when you average less than two IP per appearance....

And he won’t see a single high leverage inning in the post season unless it’s an emergency. Today was his last chance to show there was something left, and he just doesn’t have it.

You should let Jay know because he keeps trotting him out there.

What gets me is the first few games in the OOC he looked like nails. I get that the competition stepped up and I'd understand that if better teams just started hitting him more, that's kind of expected. But he just can't locate the strike zone anymore. A lot of his pitches aren't even close. What the hell happened?

Little was the 15th ranked high school pitcher in the country when he committed to Vanderbilt. The only explanation I have for why J&J keep throwing him out there is they hope the light will come on and he will meet his potential. But the time for that is almost over. If they want to pitch him in Hoover I don't really care. But he should not see the mound after that unless he is the last arm we have in the bullpen.

Not just trying to be negative but he should not see the field again this year. He has been a net negative and it’s not like he is just having bad luck.

I was so excited about Little.

He just hasnt been able to get it put together.

I think he still has crazy good arm talent, but he needs to do some soul searching with Wes this off season.
I think they need to overhaul his tempo and potentially his arm slot.

Something is just out of whack .

I'm surprised it's that many strikeouts, especially after the Auburn debacle.

Both Ackenhausen and Little were big disappointments. I would be surprised if either are on the roster next year
