How many of you took the Vegas win total of over 7.5?

See lots of people saying they knew we would never finish 6-6. So I’m assuming we have a good bit of people that dropped some money on the preseason O/U win total of 7.5 that vegas gave us

Everybody, if you read the board now, they all expected 10 or 11 wins.

Not everyone's a degenerate gambler, you know.

I never bet on my teams. Too much emotion and the lines blur what I desperately want to happen and what realistically will happen.

I didn’t bet anything this year but would have gone under if I was forced to make a wager. That was more a reflection on lack of confidence in orgeron and ensimnger along with a perceived very hard schedule. Turns out only uga and bama were only legit teams we played. Miami sucked. Auburn sucked. Miss st underperformed given their returning players. Aggies about what I thought. Florida not good but not bad.

Exactly. All the O haters said we’d be 6-6 back in July and August. Now that we are 9-3, they think it was a terrible coaching job and we should have won 10 or 11. Always a moving target with expectations of the haters.

I thought 10-2. Should have been right.

All the "O haters" were saying "10-2, no excuses" after Burrow transferred and Fulton was declared eligible, and people got pissed off about that.

You'd think one of y'all would have dozens of links to all these 6-6 predictions, yet nothing. I guess this is the new boogeyman narrative.

Excuse me, but this doesn't make sense to me. If the objective of the O haters is to trash him, then why would they set the bar so low (6 wins) when we haven't won less than 8 games over the last 18 years. You'd think the objective would be to set the bar very high where the likelihood of achieving it would be slim to none and then let the hate rain on his head

8-4 regular season is the floor... here's why

thread from August
lots of 9-10 win predictions.

and this ain’t the only thread like that.

of course most had the wrong 2 non-Bama losses, but the number is right about where TD picked LSU.

and this ain’t the only thread with these picks.

What is the payout on a relatively mundane bet like that anyway?

I would have taken the under everytime. And...lost

Winning meant LSU had to go 4-3 against Bama, AU, UGA, A$M, Miss St, Florida and Miami. After the way the 2017 season ended no way would I have taken that bet.
