From all the videos I have seen from inside the stadium, you could hear a pin drop before they ran the 2 point play.

Eerily quiet. Nothing but tightening assholes and heartbeats.

It all happened so fast but in slow motion (if that makes any sense). It’s like time stopped. Took me about 15-20 seconds after Mason scored for it to click. Then the world snapped back into place and celebrated and rushed the field.

I know that doesn’t answer your question, that’s because I don’t recall any sound lol

I’m usually very confident and full of belief. I even told the folks around me we should gk for two - before OT started.

I was nervous and silent.

I love hearing from the fans that were there what their experience was like when it happened!

It was actually pretty noisy in there as the team was running back out after the timeout, and as they were getting lined up.

Then people screamed as the Alabama player ran off the field hoping we would snap the ball.

The 2-3 seconds before the ball was actually snapped? Extremely quiet.

I was mid “Hail Mary” when it happened, but even in the North End Zone it was pretty quiet.

I was on the west side near the student section. It was a low hum when the play was getting under way, then a minor noise pop when he caught the ball, then an absolutely deafening booming roar when the ref signaled touchdown. That sound will stick in my mind forever. It’s unforgettable. I actually stood in disbelief for about 30 seconds cause I was so worried about there being a review cause it was so close, at least from where I sat. Then I just enjoyed the moment

Sights and sounds of the night were strangely blurred, but it was like a someone hit me with a cold bucket of water before the attempt…as u said it was loud as hell when they ran out, but it got pretty quiet in 213. Amazing game, amazing weekend, and INSANE to think we’re in the drivers seat to Atlanta! GDT’s

It actually was. People were screaming everything imaginable that was remotely relevant to the situation.
Man I was really nervous about going for it. The whole thing was so shocking that it did take a few seconds before I realized it was really over and LSU really won.

I never saw if he actually made it in or not sitting in the north end zone just went off of crowd reaction.

It was so quiet, they don't yet make a hearing aid to match my disability.

Before the bama timeout the crowd was going crazy bc Daniels just ran 30 yards for a TD.

I remember it being chaotic and loud and the “12th” bama player sprinted off the field before the snap.

If you listen closely, you can hear the collective heartbeat of the crowd rise to a fever pitch

My wife has a video from the game of the 2 point conversion and the way you explained it is exactly how it is in the video.

I started yelling “did we get it, did we get it, we got it!!!!!!”

Then I gave the nice Gump a hug next to me and then I started heading to the field.

From where I was in the top of the bowl of 243 on the goal line it was deafeningly quiet. Eerie actually that so many people can be that quiet. Never heard a full stadium that quiet before.
