Since 2008, only LSU, TCU, Virginia, and NC have qualified for the CWS four times. Florida made it five times.

Manierie's win % at LSU is .715 and Bertman's was .723.

The Rant doesn't hate him anymore now that he's winning.

You'll always hear bitching with LSU fans no matter the outcome. A bunch of losers

Skip basically ruined this job for anyone else.

It's an NCAA title every other year or people hate the coach. NCAA baseball has changed a ton since then. Lots of parity these days and dozens of really strong programs.

It is in the rule book...all coaches must be immediately fired at the start of every season.

First, I think the nature of baseball opens him to unfair criticism at times. So many instances of hindsight 20/20 on calls/decisions that are toss-ups. There aren't many in-game decisions that are absolutes, but our fans seem to think so... That said, I do think a weakness of PM that deserves criticism is poor bullpen management.

As far as his results go, they're tough to argue, but there really was no excuse for Houston and Stony Brook. In Omaha anything can happen, but those two home postseason losses are tough to look past.

No CWS since 2009 with all our talent is like Les Miles not winning a title since 2007 even though he had Beckham, Jarvis, Mett, Hill, Brockers, Mathieu, Simon, Mingo, Hilliard, Minter, Deion Jones, Fournette, Jamal Adams, I could do this all day

Nobody hates LSU, LSU coaches, LSU players, former LSU players and LSU's administration quite like LSU fans do.

Well since your dense let me explain it. CPM is a great regular season coach;however, excluding 08,09 he's been terrible in the post season. Just "Turrible"

Careful. You're making too much sense. You'll get run off this board at that rate.

Baseball is the most random of the big three sports, especially with so much of it dependent on pitching. The best team over a long season doesn't always in a short series or in a tournament.

Not exactly. After 2011 Les had us mired in the middle of the SEC West pack. He couldn't even consistently beat Ole Miss or Arkansas. At least Mainieri has the baseball team near or at the top of the SEC every year.

But four CWS appearances demonstrate otherwise. Are regionals and super regionals not considered post season?

This is dumb. You are comparing two different people, and two different sports. But let's explore your logic. How many times has CPM made it to Omaha? How many times has Les made the championship game or the final four?
Stick with your coloring books and leave logical thinking to the grownups.

I don't hate the guy just hate the way he handles his pitchers by leaving them in to long or not leaving them in long enough.
