You think Mond puts up those numbers against a Clemson team that was finally in form at the end of the season rather than the beginning when you’re working out kinks?

You’re wondering why a QB who put up letter stats than Burrow is ranked higher than him?

Burrow and Mond’s season stats were nearly identical. Same completion percentage, same YPA, similar TD/Int ratio, nearly identical QBR. Stats are the same but Burrow arrived on campus in June, while Mond was a second year starter.

Burrow’s leadership qualities easily pass Mond’s.

Maybe?

Tua also didn't have to deal with Dexter Lawrence up the middle.

I don't know if Mond is top 3, but his improvement from year 1 to 2 was noticeable from the get go.

prob got much better coaching from Jimbo than Summy though

I'm expecting Joe B to be battling for the top 2 with brady's tutelage.

Just stop arguing this Kellen Mond crap. No one said he’s bad, we said Burrow is better, because he is. Yes Burrow outplayed Mond easily. More completions on less attempts, better average per attempt, a better rating, 0 interceptions, more rushing yards, better rushing average, more touchdowns. The only thing Mond had was the passing touchdowns and some of those were crap. Mond made some big plays late, but his completion percentage didn’t even eclipse 50%. I still remember that snap fumble, and him throwing a game ending interception which should have ended the game right there.

That’s typical of most QBs. Year two improvement is usually significant. We should see the same with Burrow in 2019.

Starting a thread about Burrow is like a bat signal to Buckeye Joe.

Don't know why you guys get so worked up over someone's opinion. He'll have every opportunity to prove this guy wrong, and isn't that sweeter?

Mike Locksley is Maryland's HC, and Bama's RPO guru, Gattis is Michigan's new OC. So Sark is running Bama's offense.

JB will be in a great scheme. Tua will be in a 1990's scheme (like Burrow was last year - maybe 1970's scheme is more accurate for JB)

All that considered, there's a good chance JB outperforms Tua this season.

Solid evidence. Burrow is better...

just because he is.

Holy spin cycle. Aren't you the guy that had your post deleted from the gymnastics thread because you were being a pervert? And are you TexasTiger on 247?
