Johnson has been to the CWS three times.

1) His first year at Zona was with the previous Coach’s players
2) His 2nd year at Zona was with his players
3) His CWS championship at LSU was with several Maineri players + Skenes & White.
From here on out, it’s him.

Never played for Paul. Crews and Morgan only had 1 year under Paul. Travinski got miles better under Jay than he ever was under Paul. So did Floyd
It’s funny, many in this fan base wanted to show Paul the door for years and the same people now want to give him credit for last year’s team.

He only pulled two of the best players to ever wear purple and gold in a single season that were transfers but yeah just him now! Can’t hide from us, Jay!

Without Jay that team doesn’t make it out of Regionals like almost every year for about the last 20. Have you forgotten the level of mediocrity the program had achieved prior to Jay? It’s a tough year no doubt but I’ll take Jay over the long haul.
