It would be stupid for him to make any decision until after the season. He already took his redshirt so this year will use up a year of eligibility no matter what. And as it is he is one hit from taking over as the starter.

I love Nuss' arm strength, but what have you seen in the games that makes you believe that he would do any better than Daniels with our current O-line and running challenges? He has more interceptions than TDs at LSU and the worst QB performance we've had this year was his game against our worst opponent in Southern with his 2 interceptions (including a pick 6 for 90+ yards).

Is quarterback coaching the problem or is the talent just not there….
I saw Howard play in high school and he looked impressive….
In years past LSU has done a HORRIBLE job of developing quarterbacks….
JOE was an exception….

From all accounts that I've heard, he is the most talented QB and seems like he will be a great QB, but Hanny said he thinks they don't want to throw him in there with LSU's O-line challenges while he is still learning the playbook and adjusting to things as a new college QB.

If Nuss would come in and put up a stat line that read 32/45 for 300 yards 1 TD and 1 INT, the same exact people who are saying how terrible Daniels is would be celebrating that Nuss performance.
Daniels isn't without flaws, but he's damn sure not the biggest issue with this team.

All 3 QB’s looked impressive in high school, that’s why they’re at LSU. Daniels was rated higher than Walker coming out of high school. No one knows what Walker will be because we have seen him throw a single pass in a college game.

Exactly. Our TBs run for 17 yards, we give up 5 sacks and Tenn runs for over 260 yards and the simpletons blame the QB.
We were exposed yesterday along the LOS. Our HC had some brain farts. STs killed us. But it’s all the QB. Give me a break.

If BK punts on 4th, he is weak, too conservative, and playing not to lose. I am as disappointed as anyone, but the guy deserves 1 full year before the fans consider him a failure....

You will notice that the coaches who develop the best QBs don't start off with such deeply flawed players, or have at most one such project that isn't any better than 4th string to start.

I don't really hear people saying he will be a failure at LSU. He was a failure yesterday though. He went three times on 4th down (2 that were openly questioned by nearly everyone before doing so) and we were 0-3 on 4th down. After the game, it seemed like he didn't even want to consider that he made some dumb decisions that made things even harder on his team. That also wasn't easy to take.
And they are going to need a hell of an explanation to justify Harold Perkins not being on the field 90% of the time considering that Tennessee ran for 260+ yards on us and our pass rush was weak minus a few plays (and Perkins was all over the field making huge plays in our first two SEC games).

Likely at the end of the season.
He will never be the starter here anyway. Howard is up next.
Nuss isn't a quality SEC qb either, hence the reason he is riding the pine behind Daniels who also isn't a top SEC qb
