I personally know Cooper and have interacted with him a number of times in our college days.

We used to play call of duty together... He brought the entire team down with his 0.32 K/D...

And for that, I stand with Rocco.

So fighting the owner of a bar, in his bar, with his people all around? That’s how one ends up in jail. What a fricking stupid idea.

He was outside. Then he arranged a meeting to get told to frick off and didn’t do anything. Then came up with every excuse he could find to not do anything.

And I think the whole Jell-O shot shite is stupid

That's impressively bad. Was he just constantly running in guns blazing Leroy Jenkins style?

No, the day it happened was inside. He was accused, he said let’s go outside and talk about it, he asked to leave and as he was walking to the door, the owner grabbed him by the neck to force him forward. When they got to the door, the owner shoved him outside and said “don’t let him back in” and stayed inside.

The next day, we went back to talk to the owner. We went inside and he started yelling so we again asked him to go outside and not do this in front of his customers. We talked, he basically said he watched the video and then gave details which were incorrect. He lied about what happened. He refused to let us see the video.

I get that, him allowing us to see the video OR him admitting they fricked up leaves him open for a lawsuit.

Coop did stand up for himself, just not when he was being assaulted. That would have been stupid AND, by law, if Coop fought back it then justifies the owners contact.

When? When he went around Omaha telling everyone his plan of calling the cops instead of calling the cops?

Well he definitely wasn’t drunk, because he kept giving all his drinks to the kiddos.

Went to Rocco's Saturday morning and most of today, literally the friendliest staff I have met in Omaha outside of Barrett's. Fee bad for coop but damn they've been fantastic to the purple and gold.

He did call the cops, we’ve filed a police report and are waiting to see what the video showed and if they will choose to prosecute. The police told us it was unlikely the DA would pursue this as there was no physical “injury” and the charge is a 3rd degree assault, a misdemeanor.

We talked to a guy who is a restaurant owner where we live and a “friend” for 19 years. Coop worked for this guy for 2 years. He knows Kevin the owner of Rocco’s and said he’d talk to him and set up a meeting.

He told us that they’d probably delete the video or say there was a failure and it somehow got erased, so we figured he’d talk to him, get the guy to review the video and allow him time to cool down.

The next day, we felt set up by our “friend” but it’s likely he said he’d talk to us but didn’t say he’d change his stance. The guy was again a complete arse.

I’m sure his lawyers have told him never to admit liability or responsibility.

We’ll see what happens.
