Our first and only candidate should be the Oklahoma State coach, and I think he’ll bite with OSU about to be left behind in the SEC/Big 10 pissing match.

He had a chance to jump to A&M last year when A&M made Ford the highest paid coach in the SEC, but signed a new contract instead. I’m not sure he’s looking to move.

Why would we wait for things to get worse while we can position ourselves better now? It’s not like anyone personally hates Dobson and leftwhich, but you can’t just keep your job for over a decade when you’re not getting the job done. There isn’t a single profession that operates like that-especially with the great money these coaches make to coach softball.

Hey, I’m just trying to make an educated guess at Scott Woodward’s current mindset as he looks at the softball program. I’m not necessarily saying I agree with it.

I just don’t see Scott making any kind of move with Torina/softball after this season, no matter the outcome.

He told me at my coaches clinic on 2022 that he & his wife bought some land in Stillwater area. Plus there are plans to build a new stadium.

If he didn't go to A&M last year as his wife played there, then he isn't in a hurry to move.

Mullen built a house in Starkville, so things can change. We’d obviously have to throw the kitchen sink at him but Woodward has always done that.

The move we are all begging for is staff changes. I can understand an outside the box take but waiting for Oklahoma and Texas to move lsu further back doesn’t seem sensible as to where he stands.

Was a huge homer for Torina and happy she renewed the energy her first five years, but we’ve taken a substantial dip. Every great coach can distinguish family for assistants and earning your salary, doing the school proper results for the facilities and budget.

Mediocrity does not belong in any athletic program at the University of Louisiana State University...

This is a head scratcher. ULSU?

No doubt this is coming from a Troy Landry type. Lol

And that's true... just trying to throw some perspective.

I'm not advocating for anything especially since I'm not as involved as I used to be. I just most read now...

We’re the national 10 seed. Where’s the substantial dip? Not getting out of the regionals the one year was disappointing, but this team is very capable of winning this regional and beating Washington. There’s no reason to panic….yet.
