Yeah, Flau’jae looked spectacular: inside, outside, in transition, steals, rebounds, free throws…

If she takes her game to the next level, like she displayed today, watch out.

She had spurts last season where her athleticism shined. If she is able to gain some consistency this season and knock down those open outside shots she could have a great year.

Who will other teams try to stop? Reese down low? Van Lith up top? Flau’jae is going to have plenty of opportunities to put up some points.

The freshman from Shreveport is going to feast as well.

Give Hailey time, it's first time played point guard since high school, and learning LSU's system. It won't take her long, she is very smart and high basketball IQ.

Yep--just be patient. It took Morris a little while to grow into a point guard last year, and that season ended well.

Rosario looks a little slow and not aggressive around the basket. Needs to work on S&C, looked gassed. She can use height to her advantage once she figures things out, like keeping the ball above her shoulders. But she is still young 18 year old freshman, she will get better with playing time and experience. Mulkey will get her ready and in shape.

All things are true. However, Del Rosario ALSO displayed a very soft touch around the rim and a nice left handed AND right handed hook shot. Those other things will come around.

Yeah her ability to use both her hands and a nice hook shot around the rim is nice. She will get there eventually. Freshmen post players have a bad habit of keeping the ball low and end up getting stripped. And someone of her size is going to see a lot of double and triple teams.

Rosario couldn’t do much the entire summer after the ankle surgery and she came to lsu early to get the ankle fixed so she could contribute now. I suspect she will look a bit different by the time January comes around in terms of fitness and cleaning up some freshmen habits. She actually slimmed down a bit since may.

I watched some of the highlights here. My biggest mistake was reading the comments below the video. One should never read comments on YouTube/social media/etc. if one doesn't want to lose IQ points

How is it so hard to make free throws. Kids don’t practice on it enough.

Flau'jae was killing it. Van Lith too. She's a firecracker and will be fun to watch.
