Tonight isn't the night you want to shite on him, Les. Herring was coming in in the top of the 8th in a 2-0 game for a 2-inning save before Milazzo's 2 RBI double in the bottom of the 7th made it 4-0. Herring sat down and Little went in and finished. That could wind up being big later on this weekend.

You don't have to praise him, but maybe just say nothing at all tonight. That hit was huge.

You are a complete idiot… Neal has not been hitting lately. You must have missed the game where they took Milazzo out and put Neal in and he struck out his 2 at bats.

Neal hit two HRs last week lol

Milazzo is the only player on the team that can play bad & no one cares. It’s crazy

EVERYONE cares when any player has a bad game.

Who handles the pitchers best out of Travinski, Milazzo and Neal? Milazzo
Who is best with runners on base? They will run on the other 2 and will not attempt as much when he is in the game.
There’s a team of players can’t hit a breaking ball and batter in the low .200’s in SEC and you’re worried about Milazzo?

Neal got on 3 of 6 times last weekend and hit a home run. I didn’t see a lot people using a couple of at bats as proof Neal should continue playing. Milazzo came up big tonight. That hasn’t necessarily been true the last few SEC series. One good game doesn’t prove much one way or the other.

He doesn’t care about LSU winning, he only cares about defending his opinions.

Millazzo has been better than Neal. That is not debatable. But CJJ trying to get Neal to start producing has been a good strategy, imo. This team needs more production at the plate and we will not get much from Milazzo. We are getting even less from Neal, but that’s where the potential is.

Less than Braswell had. Man you should have seen that one, you would have absolutely loved it. Might have moved him from good defensively to elite.

Neal is hitting .114 in SEC play which is horrendous and it is 2/3 of the way through the season. It is not just a slump. He is a sieve behind the plate. Jay needs to find a catcher in the portal for 2025 and Neal needs to transfer to a Southeastern type school along with Kling and face lower level pitching they can hit.

Ok, you're going too far. Neal was great last year before a serious injury. Switch hitter with power. Can we at least consider the fact that he has talent, he just needs another off-season to get right?

Milazzo has outhit/outplayed Neal for two seasons now.

It has nothing to do with Auburn.

Milazzo continues to make plays and you can see how it impacts the team. Trav, White and others exploded when he got that 2-out 2 rbi double. I'll be the first one to say that when he Kd in the 3d, swinging and moving both feet, I can only shake my head, but this guy battles. He epitomizes gritty, never quit LSU baseball and has earned his playing time.

Let's go get another W today!

If I recall correctly Neal hit about .210 in SEC games last year. Which is a good bit better than what he is batting in SEC play this year.

If we have a game against Rice or McNeese St, go ahead and play Neal, he’ll do fine.

The Tale of 3 Players In the Month of April:

quote:

Alex Milazzo (.166 / .318 / .222)

3-18
7K
3BB /1HBP
3 RBI

-Just has "it"
- Give professional At Bats
-LSU only wins when he plays

---------------------------------------------

quote:

Brady Neal (.190 / 433 / 619)
4-21
8BB / 1 HBP
7K
3HR
6RBI

--Needs to sit
--Should transfer to Southeastern
-- strikes out too much

----------------------------------------------------------------

quote:

Paxton Kling (.270 / .425 / .432)

10-37
8 R
6 2B
13 k
9 bb / 1 hbp
4 rbi

--Needs Lasik
--Kling flat out can't hit
-- Should try batting left handed

People still to this day say he is the reason we lost the Florida series. So your statement is just false.

He got hurt pretty early in SEC play. Such a dumbass comment. Good thing you didn’t give up on Milazzo so quickly. He’d be out of baseball already based on his first two years.

Lester what about Neal hitting .114 in SEC play and being a sieve behind home plate and Kling hitting .167 in SEC play do u not comprehend? Not to mention both hit around .200 or less in SEC play last year as well. Neither one can hit SEC level pitching. It has been shown for more than one season. Why wouldn't you want them to go to a Southeastern type school where they have shown they may be able to hit .300 than have a 3rd sub .200 year here?
