I think the point guard position is now solidified for a few years. Love how they all average several steals per game.

This will give us plenty of depth at PG and will fit in nicely with Johnson, Morrow, Smith and Williams !!

Let’s GEAUX tigers!!

With all due respect, all are upgrades from last year’s roster departures at guard. You need really good defensive and cat quick guards to compete for championships. CKM talked about missing a guard like Lex all season. Now she has 2-3 of them. Great additions!

They were after Deja Kelly the 2 guard from UNC. I think we need quality depth in the post and we’ll be set.

Got Sheppard from a conference foe, nice. One of the highlights was her dribbling right by HVL.

We needed PG and height down low.
We’ve fixed part of it. Now go get some monsters underneath.

Except she was coming to lsu knowing she was gonna play out of position

Day-Wilson is the former ACC freshmen of the year, a true PG, elite on ball defender. Adding her in particular is massive for what this team needed.

Gilbert is also going to be an amazing talent coming off the bench and can score in bunches.

These portal additions address everything LSU needed with guard depth, adding quickness/athleticism, as well as adding a true point and another proven guard who can score.

They will add one more big to round out the roster for next year

We will have Smith coming back and Morrow and Del Rosario but yeah we need some size for sure because USCe will be loaded again.

Smith is a beast but not tall enough, Morrow is a 4 at best and Del Rosario was like a deer learning to walk. She improved throughout the season so I hope she looks more polished and powerful next year.
But to win a natty, you don’t “hope.” You go get at least two bigs. One who could start day 1 and one for depth.

It’s worth noting SC is primarily gonna be working with 6’3 posts next season with Cardoso now gone. So it’s not like lsu is gonna be undersized tbh but adding another quality post who can rebound and has a high motor is still important

Sc will be elite but they also won’t have that massive size advantage that they have in recent years. They have a 6’5 freshmen but she is coming off multiple years of season ending leg injuries. She will play but there isn’t gonna be a size gap this year. Same thing with Texas coming to the SEC. They will be a similar size inside at 6’3 with their posts

I wonder if they’ll work Wolfenbarger at 6’5 into a role of playing closer to the basket? Seems like from what I’ve read she prefers to be on the wing .

Good insight.
I don’t want to measure our team against SC. I want to build the best team to beat anyone. SC could lose height but other teams will take up the slack.

Did anyone else think it was gonna be a boob job pic? I think it was the exclamation point.

How are they good at shooting 3’s?

South Carolina loaded up on shooters to get them the championship..

Just curious how these 3 are at shooting 3’s.
